As the Stewardship Coordinator, my role is to not only plan and oversee the University’s signature events, but also manage and implement resources that cultivate current and prospective donors. These events aid our team in developing and maintaining strong relationships with our donors and partners in the community.

Some annual events I manage include State of the University, President’s Mardi Gras Ball, and Distinguished Speaker Series. I work with an exceptional team that go above and beyond to steward and cultivate our current donors with activities and events to honor and recognize their efforts. My team and I assist with scholarship luncheons, receptions, and other special recognition events for our alumni and donors. Hosting stewardship events allows donors a unique experience to interact with university students, faculty and staff.

I received an Associate of Science degree from Central Baptist College in Conway, Arkansas while attending on a volleyball athletic scholarship, and a Bachelor’s of Science with emphasis in Dietetics degree from the University of Central Arkansas. In my previous position, I worked as the Director of Food and Beverage at Verizon Arena, an 18,000-seat entertainment venue located in North Little Rock, AR. I oversaw the operations for 28 Suites, Concessions, tradeshows, banquets, Sports Hall of Fame events, and exclusive VIP parties for concert events while building relationships with clients, vendors, and suite holders.

Recently, my husband and I relocated to Corpus Christi and have begun building our careers and life here in Texas. We are enjoying the warm, beautiful weather and visiting the beach as often as possible. My favorite pastimes are spending time with my husband, exploring new areas in Texas, playing volleyball, golfing, and hiking.
