I am the eyes and ears of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. It’s my job to be aware of events and research going on at the University. I work with the Marketing and Communications team to decide how to publicize events. Those publications can range from kudos, to web stories, and press releases. My primary writing focus is the University’s internal messaging and website.
I received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in 2005. Also in 2005, I secured a job at KIII-TV3, the ABC affiliate in Corpus Christi, and spent eight years in the newsroom, working as a news producer and assistant assignments editor.
I am thrilled to be back at my Alma Mater, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, telling other people’s stories, through my writing.
I was married in 2010, to a high school history teacher and baseball/football coach. We have one son, Benjamin “Benji,” a rambunctious little boy, who keeps us on our toes. As a family, we love to go the beach, fly kites, and try new restaurants.
