Woo Sung Lee Alumni Welcome Center, Rm. 213
Hi, I’m Mario Longoria and I serve as the Engagement Officer for the Division of Institutional Advancement for Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi.
As an Engagement officer, I am responsible for maintaining the online presence of the Alumni Relations office and its various entities including social media and the website. I also assist with the management of special events such as Islander Grad Fair and the Ring Ceremony. Lastly, I assist the Director of Engagement with the purchasing of recognition awards and promotional merchandise, as well as preparing financial and transaction reports for the Alumni Association.
I graduated from Robstown High School in Robstown, Texas in 2006, and began attending Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in the fall of 2011. During my time as a student, I served as the Vice President for the TAMU-CC Communication Club, where I helped coordinate events that helped support the College of Liberal Arts.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a minor in Public Relations from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in 2014, and received an Associate’s Degree from Del Mar College in Spanish in 2013. I joined the University on a professional level after spending a year working for the City of Corpus Christi as a Multimedia Journalist.
In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering my time in several community events, reconnecting with my musical background by supporting music education, and spending time with friends and family.
