What is the Parents’ Council?
The Parents’ Council is an annual fund drive involving parents and grandparents of current and past students. Running from September 1-August 31 each year, the Parents' Fund is a significant part of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi's Annual Fund, a yearly fundraising effort designed to enhance the University's annual operating budget and to support additional student opportunities. Last year, annual giving from alumni, parents, and friends totaled over $500,000. The Parents' Fund portion exceeded $100,000 toward student extracurricular activities.
Why do parents, who may already be helping to pay their student's tuition at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, give to the Parents’ Council?

Gifts or Pledges
Texas A&M-Corpus Christi welcomes both outright gifts of cash or securities and pledges. Pledges must be paid in full by the end of the fiscal year (August 31). Gifts of Stock

Over 1,000 companies match philanthropic gifts. Donors can enhance and even double their own contributions to the Parents' Council by obtaining matching gift forms from their personnel offices.
