The College of Nursing and Health Sciences is one of the top programs in Texas with state-of-the-art facilities and a high program completion rate.
Through our one-of-a-kind eLine Military Program (ELM), the College works with Texas veterans and active service members as they transition from service in the military to a civilian career in healthcare. This program accelerates the civilian licensing process by evaluating previous medical experience and recognizing it with the appropriate class credit. The college is leading the nation with this program and has been recognized by the White House on several occasions.
Our outstanding faculty members are collaborating with the community on various critical medical issues: conducting HIV research, serving on the Governor’s Committee on Preterm Labor, and, in conjunction with the March of Dimes, helping to improve healthcare for women and children across the nation, especially in the area of premature birth.
Donations to the College of Nursing and Health Sciences enhance learning opportunities for students and provide for the latest technologies in a laboratory setting. Scholarship funding provides students career-oriented learning experiences, such as internships and field-based projects.
We thank you for your consideration on partnering with us to prepare the future of healthcare professionals.
