|Director of Development
University Service Center, Rm. 204A
As a passionate public servant and an advocate for access to higher education, I am thrilled to serve as Director of Development for TAMU-Corpus Christi! In this role, I help alumni and community members identify their philanthropic passions and guide them in creating a legacy that transforms the lives of our students, faculty, an community. With world-class faculty and one of the most tenacious student bodies in the country, this university embodies the spirit of the Lone Star State. It’s an honor to be a part of the Islander family, and it’s truly an exciting time to be here.
I was entirely dependent on grants and scholarships myself as I pursued by Bachelor of Arts in Music at Ithaca College; moreover, I was only able to obtain my Master of Arts in Arts Administration from Florida State University thanks to a graduate assistantship. Having been raised in an environment in which financial security was often fleeting, I wholeheartedly believe that philanthropic giving is changing – and will continue to change – the lives of college students the world over.
Prior to joining the Institutional Advancement team, I worked in corporate/foundation relations and major giving for the University of North Texas. I also managed institutional and annual giving for Fort Worth Opera. Outside of work, I sing with the Corpus Christi Chorale and volunteer with Varsity Vocals and the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA). My husband and I are proud parents to a sweet, senior pup and a mischievous cat.
